The annual award ceremony of the Prof. Dr.Marijan Hanžeković Trust was held on Friday, 4 December 2009. The first prize in the regular category in the form of a diploma, medal and HRK 50,000 was awarded to Saša Cerovac and Lana Ivičić from the Croatian National Bank for their paper Credit Risk Assessment of Corporate Sector in Croatia.
The winner in the student category was not declared this year due to insufficient quality of the submitted papers.
The 2009 Award Committee comprised Predrag Bejaković(Institute of Public Finance), Boris Cota (Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb), Boris Majcen (Institute for Economic Research, Ljubljana), Neven Mates (Croatian National Bank) and Katarina Ott (Institute for Public Finance).
