Velibor Mačkić (Faculty of Economics and Business, Zagreb), Andrea Mervar (The Institute of Economics, Zagreb), Katarina Ott (Institute of Public Finance, Zagreb), Branko Stanić (Institute of Public Finance, Zagreb) and Tihana Škrinjarić (Bank of England, London) has decided on the results of the 2023 competition.
In the regular category, 6,500 euros, medal and diploma – goes to Petar Sorić, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb, Department of Statistics, for the article "The Euro and Croatian inflation: much ado about nothing?".
In the regular category, 2,000 euros and diploma goes to Enja Erker, a student from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Ljubljana University, Slovenia, for the article "Forecasting medical inflation in the European Union using the ARIMA model".
The prize award ceremony was held on December 7, 2023 and awarded articles are published in the journal Public Sector Economics.
